Short Bio
Joe Fournier is an Award-Winning Composer for Film and Media based in Los Angeles, CA.
He is a multi-instrumentalist and has written, performed, and produced music for a growing list of film and multimedia projects; including Drama, Thriller, Dark Comedy, Horror, Documentary, and just about everything in between.
Joe operates under the mantra that a film’s score should be as unique as its story. With each project he takes on, he greatly enjoys working with creatives to find the best possible soundscape to elevate their film’s unique story and vision.
Recently, he received the award for Best Music at Toronto’s Feedback Film Festival (2019) for the Original Score for the short: The Legend of Scotty Watts.
In 2021, Joe has scored multiple award-nominated short films, and has completed scoring his first feature Documentary, Kicking The Hornet’s Nest, which features over two hours of scored music. The film is now out on Prime Video and Apple TV.
Some other notable projects this year include the dark comedy short Sound Bites for TwentyTen Productions, the short thriller Threshing Floor- recently released as an IGTV series, and the short thriller Sanctum Directed by the Mubarik Brother’s- multi-nominated and screening at festivals this season.
Soundtracks for multiple films Joe has scored are to be released on all major music platforms in late November, 2021.
